Chaplain Deborah Schell is now with the Lord Jesus Christ walking on streets of gold, and singing praises to him for all the wonders he performed during her work here on earth in her ministry at the Allen County Jail

It's with great regrets that Chaplain Deborah Schell our Substance Abuse counselor did pass away this morning at 1 am from cancer. I will post additional information on the new Facebook site when I receive it

This years Allen County Jail Chaplaincy Banquet is being held on May 9, if you didn't receive a invitation and would like to attend call me at 449-7215. Tickets are $75 a person or $600 for a table of eight

Volunteers returned this year and helped package and handout Christmas treats, sing, and speak about Jesus Christ and his love for them. Well over 10,000 cookies were baked, they came from Northeast Indiana and Northwest Ohio churches and given out also to Community Corrections and area shelters. There were 50 volunteers which help, hope more will help next year, but God is so good for those that that help. Chaplain Tim Dettmer

Good news, we are finally being allowed to have volunteers for our annual Christmas caroling on Dec. 10th. If you are interested call my office at 260-449-7215, times are 2:30 - 5 pm that day. Must be 16 or older to attend.

As our Chapel services have started, please pray that Drug class with Chaplain Deb will begin soon, many inmates are asking to be in the class. Hopefully also in the next few months our volunteers that do block bible studies will be able to return. My biggest hope is that very soon Christmas will be here and we would like to see our volunteers to be able to come in and sing and handout the treats and do some praying over the inmates, and let's pray that the FIRE OF GOD will hit this jail with a fresh out pouring of the Holy Spirit.

Just wanted everyone to know that we finally started Chapel services on Monday night June 13th, we have been waiting 27 months for this to happen. Substance abuse classes will begin on the 27th, Chaplain Deb Schell has been receiving a boat load of requests to join her class. Block bible studies are still on hold, praying that God will open the door for those volunteers. A lot of good feedback about chapel service on Tuesday night women's service. The Holy Spirit showed up and all the women were crying, praise the Lord.
