Thursday January 29th is the national homeless count . It is from 6am-6pm at the Fort Wayne rescue mission . Located on Superior St. .Thanks to many of the 4th District American Legion Post and there American Legion Family, The ALR and friends and supporters will be there to hand out warm clothes and other items that my be needed. If you are a Veteran in need please come see us we will have coats, boots, socks, blankets, and some other items out side just for you and if you are a non-veteran in need we will have lots of the same items and clothes in the inside.
If you are not someone in need but have time on your hands and would like to help out we would love to have the help. Just ask for Nancy or Janice .If you don't have time but find that you have extra warm items or hygiene items and or food please feel free to drop them by so someone in need could use them.

There is going to be a X-Mas party at the post on Dec22 it will be a carry in at 5pm music at 7pm every one welcome come join the fun with the ALR

Communities pulling together

The cookout for the homeless veterans at Liberty Landing went over very well we all had a great time and injoyed the company.
The loved the food and played some games and some of the residence play music for us they rocked
