Dr. Lindsay doesn't believe she can help everyone and she'll be the first one to tell you that.

Most offices will open their doors to anyone who calls. We understand why - there's a genuine desire to help. But Dr. Lindsay operates differently.

She knows what she's exceptionally good at. She knows the nervous systems she's wired to understand, the families she's built to serve, and the cases where her specific approach will create real, lasting change.

And when someone comes in who she feels would be better served somewhere else? She tells them. Kindly, honestly, and with a referral in hand.

No awkwardness. No stringing anyone along. Just integrity.

Because the goal was never to fill a schedule. It was always to change lives.

If you've ever wondered whether this is the right place for you or your family, that's exactly the kind of conversation we welcome here.

“The end of the school year went so well. He received awards for positive attitude, perfect attendance, crushing his math facts and completing his reading goals.” We ❤️ hearing feedback like this from parents! 🫶

“We have had less big breakdowns, easier time adjusting when things don’t go our way, etc.

I truly believe he wouldn’t be as successful if we hadn’t done gone through chiropractic care.”

“(What I like best about the office is) the communication, the friendly atmosphere. Sounds cheesy, but you truly feel like you’re at home when you’re there.”

"In November of 2024 I started care with Dr. Lindsay and it has been life changing for me!

Over the past couple yrs I've gone through some big life changes and some MAJOR trauma in my personal life.

It was enough to make one want to just give up on life.

But I’m so grateful to have found Dr. Lindsay! She is caring, compassionate, and her gentle touch has brought so much healing to my nervous system!!

Today I’m no longer living in a constant survival mode of fear, feeling unsafe, social anxiety, people pleasing and self abandonment.

I have more safety within myself, clarity and a greater sense of identity than ever. I trust my intuition and am able to set boundaries in my relationships.

Thank you Dr. Lindsay for the work that you do… it has made a world of difference for me! And I’m excited for the ongoing transformation to come as I continue nervous system care!"

Your Oura Ring is tracking your HRV. But here's what it's not showing you.

Consumer wearables can't tell you is why your number is stuck, or whether your nervous system is actually capable of producing a high HRV in the first place.

The HRV scan we run in our office is different. It measures both your sympathetic and parasympathetic output — meaning we can see if your nervous system is chronically stuck in fight-or-flight, suppressing your vagus nerve, and literally blocking your body from reaching the scores you're chasing.

If you're a high performer and your HRV matters to you — this is the scan that actually tells you what's going on underneath.

Why Stress-Relief Tips Feel Too Surface-Level:

Ever try a breathing exercise, grounding technique, or quick meditation… feel a tiny bit of relief… and then boom — the stress snaps right back?

You’re not doing anything wrong.

Those tools just can’t go deep enough on their own.

When your nervous system has been stuck in fight, flight, or freeze for months (or years), your body holds onto patterns of tension, overwhelm, and survival.

Surface-level tips can soothe the moment — but they can’t unwind the root cause.

Real, lasting support looks different. It goes deeper by helping your body:

✨
relearn safety at the physiological level

✨
shift long-standing stress patterns so calm actually sticks

✨
improve focus, emotional regulation, digestion, and sleep

✨
build resilience so everyday life feels lighter instead of overwhelming

✨
reconnect brain and body so you feel grounded without having to work so hard for it

When your nervous system is truly supported — through consistent care — stress relief stops feeling like a band-aid…and starts becoming your new normal.

Your body can get there, and we can help.

Women are exceptionally good at holding it together.

We suppress. We push through. We stay “strong.” We ignore the signals. We put everyone else first. And for a while, it works.

But the body is keeping score.

Autoimmune conditions are far more common in women—and while there is never a single cause, one very real contributor is chronic nervous system stress.

When emotions, stress, trauma, and overwhelm are repeatedly suppressed instead of processed, the nervous system can stay stuck in a state of long-term fight-or-flight.

Over time, this constant stress response can disrupt immune regulation, inflammation pathways, hormone balance, and gut health.

In other words: What you don’t express, your body may eventually express for you.

This is not about blame. This is about awareness—and permission.

Permission to slow down
Permission to feel
Permission to listen to your body
Permission to support your nervous system instead of overriding it

Healing doesn’t start with “doing more.” It often starts with creating safety, regulation, and support at the nervous system level.

Your symptoms are not random. They are communication. And your body is always on your side.

"I probably looked into it for a year before starting." "Me too. I wish I would have started when my doctor first suggested it."

Sound familiar?

So many of the women who walk through our door have been thinking about this for a long time. They've seen the posts. They've heard a friend talk about it. Something in them said yes — and then life got busy, or it felt like one more thing to figure out.

We get it. And we're not here to rush anyone.
But if you've been sitting on this for a while — this is your sign that it's okay to just start.

Your nervous system has been waiting long enough.

When someone comes in and tells me they've already tried everything — and I mean everything — my first thought is: their autonomic reserves are probably depleted.

What does that mean?

Your autonomic nervous system has two fuel reserves. Parasympathetic — think vagus nerve, digestion, healing and repair, rest and digest.

And sympathetic — think fight or flight, or if it's been chronic, freeze.

Both reserves should be full and balanced with each other. Most practice members I see have low reserves in both.

Others are showing signs of sympathetic exhaustion.

The rarest pattern I see — and it surprises people — is actually having enough reserves but with sympathetic dominance. That's still a problem, because the parasympathetic system never gets the opportunity to switch on and do its cellular repair work.

When activity in both reserves is low, healing capacity is low. Everything left is going toward basic survival — just getting you through the day. And with low sympathetic reserves, there's very little capacity to adapt to stress. So even tiny stressors can feel overwhelming. This shows up in adults and kids alike.

You need full, balanced reserves for your body to heal, adapt, and actually thrive — not just survive.

This is exactly what our nervous system scan measures. If you've been wondering why nothing has fully worked, the answer might be here. Link in bio to get started.

Sometimes the shift shows up in your partner noticing your mood before you do.

Or realizing you've stopped obsessing over every symptom.

Or that you're working out, eating better, and letting go of what you can't control — not because you're forcing it, but because you actually have the capacity to now.

Sharper focus, faster decison making, less reactivity, energy that actually lasts through the day, the ability to recover and turn off after work and be present with family.

Most people in demanding roles want all of these things, and have never had their nervous system evaluated. But it impacts your potential and most patients tell us they waited way too long to get started.

Assessing the depth of fight-or-flight is a great first step to understanding what's actually limiting performance.
