Did you know Science Central is located in the historic former City Light & Power generating station—part of Fort Wayne’s early electrical industry connected to GE’s legacy? The exhibit reflects Fort Wayne's early electric utility infrastructure.

Their hard work, curiosity, and problem-solving skills helped get this hands-on experience back up and running.

We're having so much fun downtown with GermanfestFortWayne and PBS Fort Wayne! Familienfest and Explorer Day were a hit. We learned about structures and fisheries. We even blew bubbles with new friends and met a fleet of adorable dachshunds!
