GrowAlittleFood.org
GrowAlittleFood.org's page This organization was founded to encourage people to grow a small portion of their own food.
No matter what amount of space that they have available, if everyone would grow just a little bit of food the world would be a much better place. Humanity has become too reliant on mass production of food. If people were more involved in the growing of their own food, this reliance would be lessened. I encourage everyone to Grow A little Food.

I just moved my pineapple to its summer residence in the garden. Hopefully I can get it to bloom again this year.

Ouch! But for future esthetics, I just removed two major branches from my 10yo cedar bonsai.
I think I'm going to work in the garden and get a little sun.
Happy Earthday everyone. I hope you make the most of it.

This is the seedling that has my interest peaked. In all of my years growing from seed, I’ve never seen a tomato plant with three initial leaves (cotyledons).

Yes, they are in your backyard too. In Fort Wayne (south-central), I had to protect a juvenile opossum from my dog one late night. There's nothing better than to know that it's around to protect the garden.
One of the cutest beings on this planet, a possum or opossum, also one of the most misunderstood. They are marsupials, they do not transmit rabies and are indispensable for pest control, so do not kill them!

There is no question why this heirloom is called “Ugly Bettys”. On occasion it grows the weirdest tomatoes.
Its so easy, anyone can do it.
