The Manchester ASHP-SSHP would like to invite you to a fun interprofessional event! All students are invited and are encouraged to participate!
This is a fun competition that brings healthcare students from different professionals together in groups of 4 to 5 students to collectively and collaboratively practice interdisciplinary rounding, apply clinical knowledge and skills, abs exercise soft skills for effective communication and leadership development.
Competitors shall wear professional attire or attire appropriate to the occupational area during the entire competition, proper attire will also be evaluated. Winners will be notified shortly after the competition.

On behalf of ASHP, I would like to invite you to our fourth general body meeting of the school year. The meeting will be held on Wednesday, January 22nd, at 12:00 pm in room 133 (the DI classroom). At this meeting we will have a guest speaker, current PGY-1 Lutheran Health Resident & Manchester Alumni, Christina Ford, speaking about her residency experience so far as well as the application process.
Food will be provided at the meeting! Also, an infectious disease practice table will be given to all P2’s who attend the meeting (this will help serve as a study guide for ID Exam 1). Hope to see you there!!

Today, ASHP-SSHP had our 2nd general body meeting! We had the privilege to participate in a Skype call where Dr. Elaine Blythe, PharmD. from the University of Florida, spoke about her role in Veterinary Pharmacy as well as the opportunities available in that field!

We would like to give a big thanks to everyone who joined us for our first ASHP-SSHP (American Society of Health System Pharmacists - Student Society of Health System Pharmacy) meeting of the semester!
