One of the things that is making VBS so special this year is seeing more kids have the opportunity to participate.

Through our ABLE ministry, kids with disabilities are able to take part in VBS with the support of a one-on-one ABLE Buddy or through our sensory-friendly VBS option. Throughout the week, children are building friendships, having fun, and learning about Jesus in environments designed to help them thrive.

A huge thank you to our ABLE Buddies, volunteers, and leaders who are giving their time, energy, and hearts to make these experiences possible. Your willingness to serve is helping create a place where every child is welcomed, valued, and loved. ❤️

Jesus is the light of the world! We had a blast at VBS today and can't wait to see how God moves in little hearts this week.

All means all.

In 1 John 1, we’re reminded that walking in the light doesn’t mean pretending we’re perfect. It means acknowledging our sin, trusting Jesus completely, and living in the freedom of His forgiveness.

“If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” — 1 John 1:9

Same house. Same room. Same moment in time. Entirely disconnected. 🎧

Is that sometimes how your relationship with God feels? Not because He's not present. Not because He's not speaking. We've just gotten really good at noise-canceling.

This is week one of our new series, Living in the Light. Watch the full sermon at https://emmanuelcommunity.org/watch-listen/sermons/messages/living-in-the-light-1

Today we had the privilege of celebrating our graduating seniors.

We are grateful for who they are, proud of how they have grown, and excited for the next season God has in front of them.

Join us in praying for these students as they step forward to know Jesus, do what He says, and make Him known.

"If you show mercy, it'll change your actions today. If you love mercy, it'll change your character forever."

To every woman who nurtures, encourages, leads, and reflects the heart of God, we’re grateful for you.

Happy Mother’s Day from Emmanuel.

Raise your hand if you've ever compared yourself to someone else and walked away feeling either really good about yourself... or really lousy. 🙋

Yeah. We've all been there.

The comparison game is something every one of us plays — and Proverbs 14:30 has something to say about where it leads us: "A heart at peace gives life to the body, but envy rots the bones."

This clip is from this past weekend's message and it hit close to home for a lot of people in the room. If you missed it or want to share it with someone who needs to hear it, the full message is here: https://emmanuelcommunity.org/watch-listen/sermons/messages/his-word-my-walk-4

You don’t need to master God’s Word. But you do need a habit of being in it. That’s what God uses to spark transformation in real life.

Pastor Josh shared two questions he asks himself daily—not just when he’s doing well, but especially when he’s not.

If you’re building a habit of time with God, this might be one of the most practical takeaways from last week’s message.
