Could Spring finally be here??? Let's hope so! Don't forget to check and replace your furnace air filter before air conditioning season starts. It's also a good time of year to have a service check on your geothermal unit to keep it working in tip top shape during summer's hottest days. Mild temperatures in the spring and fall make it the ideal time to get your geothermal unit checked for the extreme temperatures of summer and winter. Have you had a "check up" on your geothermal unit lately?
If you've noticed a draft on this cold, windy day, take note of where those leaks are and add those places to the "To Be Repaired" list for the nicer Spring days ahead. Not only will you be more comfortable once the leaks are sealed, but you'll save some money too!
As the temperatures warm up, do you prefer to have the windows open or run the air conditioner?
Spring officially starts Saturday!!! That's a great time to check your air filter and replace as necessary. Good rule of thumb: electrostatic filters should be washed monthly, 1" fiberglass filters should be replaced monthly, 1" pleated filters should be replaced every 2-3 months, 2" pleated filters should be replaced every 6 months and 4" filters should be replaced annually.
What was the best thing you did to enjoy yesterday's fabulous weather?
