I am getting ready for an artist market this weekend and have several paintings I haven’t released as prints yet, which means I also don’t have any data for how much to print of which ones.

After a kind of intense week, it was good to get outside and paint the garden today. It is BURSTING with blooms. It has taken quite a few years, but ai feel like I am starting to get it to where a few things bloom and as those fade, new areas come to life, with a lovely overlap.

I painted two side by side paintings, starting with dry on wet for the first one, wet on wet for the second one. The wet on wet definitely glows more, while the dry on wet is much richer and darker and contrasting.

The light that comes n the end of May, beginning of June just hits different. It’s probably my favorite time of the year just because of this view.

Working on editing some new prints! This painting was inspired by several old paintings I have been studying. It’s interesting how much you see repeating compositions from several different artists. I love the ducks in the water.

I’m excited to finally have my own printer now to print archival fine art prints. Still working on tweaking the color settings. If anyone has any advice on it, I’ll take it, but I’ll get there. :)

Got to pick a bunch of flowers this weekend and make some floral syrups and teas.
