Hey All, I know it's the Season of Giving, but I also know that everyone and their brother is looking for donations this time of year.

When we agreed to rescue Bruce it was supposed to be a short-term, get him vetted and healthy then re-home situation...then when he had lost nearly 20lbs by the time they could get him in to fix, we knew there was something wrong, and now we are 6 months into this "foster", everyone who meets Bruce falls instantly in love, and we refuse to give up on or abandon him like his previous owner did...a few people have been asking how they can help, and in light of the recent news from the vet, we've finally agreed to let them.

We tried all of the Pit rescues, we tried the SPCA resources, and everyone's answer is the same. Our only available "resource" was an "Emergency Health" Credit Card which we are ineligible for at this current point in time. Trubble has graciously offered to help us host a silent auction fundraiser here in a month or two, but in the meantime, for anyone interested and those who were asking, we have set up a fee-free fund for him, so if you feel led to donate a dollar or two, the link is here, or you may share with your pet-loving friends. Anything raised above the price of his care will be paid forward to the next person in a similar spot w/o the means to handle these unexpected medical issues.

Finally found a fee-free way for friends and family who have been asking to help support Bruce's Heart-Worm Battle!

Every little bit helps, so feel free to drop a dollar or two in the "kitty" for the doggie if you feel so inclined...if you're currently unable, even just sharing with your Pit-Lovin' Friends can help!

We are in the planning stages to host a Pitbull Heart-Worm Treatment silent auction fundraiser in the very near future, we know we just need to let everyone get through the holidays.
