Day 7, no TV! And we cut out all processed foods and have limited “snack” foods….Mommy lost the remote and hasn’t been able to buy a new one yet. The transformation is real and incredible!

The first 24 hours were a little rough… it very much resembled detox…which it was in my mind….

but After just 48 hours, she was demonstrating signifantly increased imaginary and creative play that was self-directed.

I have been leaving workbooks and coloring stuff out for her and she’s voluntarily starting those activities instead of fighting me for YouTube time.

It’s so easy to give in to the TV as a working single mom. But the benefits of not doing so are clear

I love these pink tools by ! I actually have the full pink toolbag kit! I used to be the damsel in distress and then I made the conscious decision to change that! You can conquer almost any project by starting small. I started with cleaning my own car… and then progressed to thinks like learning about electical wiring enough to change out old outlets and install the smart switches I wanted…. All on my own! You can YouTube almost anything and if you ask, there are local experts in the field will help guide you! While it may seem overwhelming at first, being able to do it on your own will EMPOWER you and make you feel great!
