The neighborhood had a su***de crisis. People were losing hope.
Artist Elena painted a dragon mural. The message: You are stronger than you know. Like this dragon, you can fly.
She painted it where people gathered. Where they considered ending their lives.
Within a year, su***de attempts in that area dropped 25%.
People started using the dragon as a symbol of survival. They met there. They talked. They helped each other.
"Art saved lives," Elena said quietly. "A dragon reminded people they were worth saving."

I’ve been told this artist once worked here denalibrewing but now pursues his 🧑🎨 artistic endeavors fulltime…more info to come 😊
