🎉 Congratulations to Amy Ross, our June Employee of the Month! 🎉

Amy is a Certified Medication Aide in Grace Garden and has been a valued member of our team since before we opened in October 2023. With 30 years of CNA experience and a passion for caring for others, she brings kindness, compassion, and positivity to our residents and their families each and every day.

Her smile and laughter are truly contagious! Thank you, Amy, for all that you do. We are grateful to have you as part of our team! 💛

We have had so much fun this week celebrating our Nurses! A special thank you to Heartland Hospice for providing breakfast and gifts to our team on Wednesday! Last night, we held our annual Nurse's Dinner. It's always a special night of fun and recognition. Thank you to Second Baptist Church for providing and serving dinner!

Courtney Long was presented our 2026 Mariola Cosby Nursing in Excellence Award. Courtney began her nursing career here with us a new nursing grad in February of 2024. She has since been promoted to Treatment Nurse and is such a valuable asset to our team!

Craft Club made windchimes today! We can hardly wait to hear them dance in the wind!

We pampered ourselves with a DIY Spa Facial Treatment in Grace Garden yesterday. Residents made the facial cream with banana, avocado, and yogurt. We already looking forward to our next Spa Day!

The Culinary Club at Grace Garden met today and made fresh fruit smoothies! The fluffy fruity treat was enjoyed by all!

Grace Garden resident's had a blast learning about NASA's most recent mission last week. They finished off the week by making their own rockets. Even staff joined in on the FUN!

The Culinary Club meet Monday afternoon and had a great time making edible bird nest! I think their favorite part was enjoying the finished product! Good thing our birthday girl was willing to share her birthday cake after supper because there was no evidence of any bird nest to be found!

Run2End ALZ is still going strong as it held it's 16th annual 5K/10K on Saturday. LifeSpring Community has been a proud sponsor of this race for the past several years, and this year was no exception!
Tara and Haley represented LifeSpring at our sponsor table, once again. It's always fun to meet new people and to reconnect with familiar faces! It truly takes a community coming together to make a difference as we work towards a common goal to be difference makers in the world of dementia!
Hunter (Tara's son) represented us well with a 1st place finish in his age group.

Grace Garden residents enjoyed an Easter Egg Hunt this afternoon, followed by a sweet treat of strawberry shakes! Some might say that we are also getting ready for The Masters if they took a look at our plates! (stay tuned for more on this next week !)
