Last year brought us so many blessings, with our community's support of all the small businnesses here inside our shopping center.💕 From the Best of the Best recognitions, to your daily choice to keep your dollars local by shopping small, we could not be more grateful for your continued support of the growth of our small businesses!
Our businesses hosted some incredible events this past year, from Pet Painting workshops with Amy Eichler Art, to the Vintage & Boutique Forum, and we launched into the Christmas season with the Biggest and Best Holiday Girls Night Out to date!
We are so proud of all the accomplishments of the 100+ entreprenuers here in the Shops. With both National recognition, Cocoa Belle Chocolates competing on the Food Network and Refined Designs' feature in Woman's World magazine, to hometown heros like Fort Smith Popcorn Co. raising money for the flood victims.
We welcomed some fabulous new businesses to the River Valley, from NWA to Tulsa and beyond; helped a few entrepernuers start-up their very first brick and mortar locations for their online boutiques; saw several of our tennats expand their brands; and even kept a few amazing Fort Smith boutiques right here, by relocating their storefronts to the Shops! (We are still pretty excited that Makeup Lounge, Rags 'N Calico, and Sunshine & Oak now all have their permanent homes right here inside BrickCity!🤩)
We have had so much fun helping you pick the perfect gift, outfit, or just hanging out and enjoying one of the many events. YOU are what make this SO MUCH fun for both our staff and the entreprenuers we support.

My name is Shannon, I am a wife, mom, sister, daughter and friend. I am married to a wonderful man, Randy, he is my CEO “Carry Everything Out”! Together we have 4 amazing children, 3 boys and 1 girl! I love anything to do with design and décor. I follow the latest trends and styles and I love to embrace all the different and unique styles this world has to offer. My personal love and style is Farmhouse Chic mixed with French Provencal and French Country. My passion has always been to have a beautiful home that anyone who entered would not want to leave. I started painting furniture long ago when I didn’t have money to buy new pieces, what I found was my guest would often say “I love that piece, where did you find it!?” Soon I was being asked if I could restyle their pieces that they no longer loved or if I could help them find an old piece of furniture and paint it to look amazing! This is how The Refined Design Life ~ “Turning Disaster Pieces into Masterpieces” began.
I believe you can refine any part of your life, at any time. Over the last few years my life and business have consistently been refined and when you refine a part of you, you create a new design.
