Hard to believe I've made my son SIX birthday cakes now! We celebrated my rainbow loving, brilliant little lego master Oscar yesterday. I could have made my own edible legos, but I figured why not put some of his birthday legos to good use? 😂😍

I haven't ever shared my daughter Opal's 1st birthday smash cake from 2023 😅 Posting it here just so I can look back at the memories. She demolished this beast that was almost as big as she was. 🥹

I have a hundred cake photos I never shared (and probably never will) because I was sooo bad at managing my social media when I was actively taking orders. Oh well. 🙈

Hello all! 🌼 I miss you!

I have been getting several messages from people and my followers wondering if I am now a vegan bakery. Unfortunately, another baker in town started operating and using the same name, Flour Child (Vegan Bakery), in February of this year. I am not associated with their business. I know I am not currently taking custom orders, but I am still very much *Flour Child Sweets* and will continue to use my name that I worked hard to establish in the future when I get back to work. I apologize for the confusion!

Absolutely loved how this trio turned out for the Barron wedding at The Loft at Stone Oak yesterday! Such a gorgeous setup at a beautiful venue.

We celebrated my son Ozzy's 4th birthday yesterday with a minion themed party. So much fun! This guy was made of chocolate cake and chocolate ganache filling (my kid is a chocolate fiend) with fondant decorations 😋

Flour Child is back! 🤩 I have missed making cakes the last several months! I had my beautiful baby girl back in January and am slowly working my way back in to caking full time. (Slowly being the key word 😉😅)

I had a blast making this beauty for the GORGEOUS Kennedy wedding at the fabulous . This was my first order back since being on *maternity leave* and it was a doozy! Three big ole tiers of delicious red velvet cake with my cream cheese buttercream and a massive sheetcake to serve as well. Phew! I baked almost all of it while wearing my newborn in a sling. 💪

I am ONLY BOOKING WEDDINGS for the foreseeable future. I absolutely hate turning down all of my wonderful repeat clients for cakes for their kiddos' birthdays but I currently can't pull all nighters working on smaller cakes.. (too busy pulling all nighters with my newborn! 😅) When I open up my books for the smaller orders again I will let everyone know!! 😘

Chocolate cake filled with chocolate ganache, covered in whipped chocolate ganache, dripped in dulce de leche and finished with chocolate covered strawberries and pretzels. SO EXTRA. I wanted a slice of this so bad. 😍
