πŸ›’ Being Good Neighbors and Community Partners 🚌

Fort Smith Transit values our partnerships with the businesses and shopping centers that allow us to serve our community. We ask all passengers to help us be good neighbors by leaving shopping carts at the store or shopping center where they belong.

Recently, shopping carts have been left at bus stops and shelters throughout the city. While we understand carts can make carrying purchases easier, these carts are the property of the businesses that provide them for their customers.

Please remember:
βœ… Return shopping carts to the designated cart return areas before boarding the bus.
βœ… Leave carts on the property where they were obtained.
βœ… Help keep our bus stops, shelters, and neighborhoods clean and accessible for everyone.

By working together, we can maintain positive relationships with our community partners and ensure Fort Smith Transit continues to provide safe, reliable service for all.

Thank you for helping us keep our community moving forward! πŸ’™

🌟 Community Spotlight: Future Leaders in Transit 🌟

Fort Smith Transit was proud to welcome Stevie Blankinchip, a member of the Diamonds of Arkansas Girl Scout troop, for a special visit to learn more about how public transportation works in our community.

During her visit, Stevie asked thoughtful questions about transit operations, safety, and how public transportation supports independence, mobility, and access to opportunity across Fort Smith. Her curiosity and engagement reflect exactly what community learning is all about.

Stevie is an impressive young leader in the making, and we are excited to officially welcome her as a Junior AmBUSsador for Fort Smith Transit. This milestone supports her work toward earning her Independence Badge while also helping her better understand how transit empowers people to move through their community.

We appreciate her visit and look forward to seeing how she continues to grow, learn, and serve.

Thank you for visiting Fort Smith Transit!
