Everyone did a great job! 👏🏼🥇
It was an early morning for the members of the 164th Theater Airfield Operations Group / Air Traffic Service Command and 597th Maintenance Detachment!
The Norwegian Ruck March took place this moring at 0530, where soldiers rucked 18.6 miles (30km) to earn their skill badge in under 4 hours and 30 minutes for males and 5 hours and 15 minutes for females. While wearing a uniform and boots with a 25-pound (11 kg) rucksack, the Norwegian ruck march was originally created in 1915 as a test of strength and endurance, it is now a foreign service badge that can be earned by military personnel from partner nations, including the US.
Here’s to all the participants!
SSG Velez, SGT Velez, SGT Hall, SGT Gillmore, SGT Cunningham, and SPC Poole. 👏🏼🇺🇸🪖
