Picked up this lovely yarn at one of my local thrift shops a few weeks ago and have been working on this piece off and on while my middle kid does his YuGiOh trading card game tournaments and while waiting for various kids appointments. Ran out of yarn during tonight’s tournament! 🤣 looks like I’ll have to see if I can find anymore of this yarn!

I’m a messy crafter so we ain’t gonna talk about my craft table mess. But I had a spark of an idea for some ornaments 🥰 We’ve lived on this base through TWO name changes now! This year the name changed back to its former name so in honor of how many of us say it “I live on Fort Novosel…I mean Fort Rucker” I played around with the idea and am making some limited edition Novosel x Rucker 2025 ornaments 😀

Made a few more hair tie bows this evening. Figuring out ways to make them easier to flip & tie together. These are (mostly) Little Lady’s school colors so she loves getting to show off a little extra school spirit when she wears them 💛💙💛💙

Got some new sewing needles and had to call my momma to help me figure out why I was having a tension issue with my thread! Here’s your time to make sure that the needle is in the correct placement because I had mine turned the wrong way! The new needles has a slightly smaller diameter than the ones standard for my machine so they fit in the wrong direction. Once we went through all the other steps to try to figure it out I was going to swap back to my original needle and that’s when I realized the error! So if you’re having tension issues like me & you recently swapped your needle, check that first! 🧵 🪡
