During my time as a DET SGT, I received a lot of good guidance from my seniors and a lot of support from my subordinates. All my Soldiers, NCOs and Officers were great, however, Some of my them were extra supporters and showed me how to be a successful leader, they gave the extra miles and bounced back from difficulties, they always showed willingness to learn and growth. They showed the best attitudes, some of them became the go to Soldiers, always willing to learn. Some of them were always ready to execute any mission, serves as the guidon bearer, some were really mature, and others even motivated not only their battle buddies but their leadership as well. I couldn’t do this in person due to their quarantine, but I think they deserve to be recognized. Please received this little token of appreciation.

Well, it has been a great time at Fort Riley, I met a lot of good Service Members, both, officers and Enlisted. Is time for me to move on and continue with my military career. Some people, one way or another made a positive impact in my life at Riley, others? Not so much. What is important is, I learned a lot and it was a wonderful experience. I was a team leader for 165Th MCT and a Detachment Sergeant for 266th MCT. I would like to thank CPT Kowzan for teaming up, for all the guidance and support, and officers, NCOs and Soldiers from both 165th and 266th for always work with me and give their very best in every single mission. I would like also thanks our chain of command for trusting in my leadership skills and give me the opportunity to serve and lead Soldiers and NCOs to win the fight. I learned a lot and will always remember 266th MCT, 541st CSSB, 1SB, 1ID. Thank you for giving my wife Carmen Colon the opportunity to serve by our side.
