Widespread light to moderate and occasionally heavy snow is expected to continue through the late evening. Snow amounts were increased with a widespread 1 to 3 inches over most of the area. Isolated snow amounts up to 5 inches are possible towards central Kansas where a heavier snow band is moving through (circled area). Expect the snow to end from west to east shortly after midnight. Slick and hazardous travel is likely this evening into early Monday morning.

Enjoy the warm temperatures Today with highs in the 60s. A strong cold front and an upper level storm system will bring arctic air and accumulating snow Tuesday night through Thursday morning.. A winter storm watch is in effect for east central KS Tuesday night through Thursday morning. It will remain cold through the end of the work week, then warming up a bit by the weekend.

Yesterday’s Victory Wellness Foundational Day was a success for SIS Company Organic Soldiers and Families!

In honor of Veteran’s Day this month, the Company made a trip to the National World War 1 Museum in Kansas City! Everyone learned something new about our history and involvement in WWI.

Today SIS Company promoted one of its brightest Soldiers from SPC to SGT!
