Soldiers from 2nd Armored Brigade Combat Team conduct Dagger Crucible to increase warfighting mastery.

During the past two days, 5th Squadron, 4th Cavalry Regiment conducted The Spur Ride which is a Calvary tradition within the United States Army. Soldiers serving with Cavalry units (referred to as "Troopers") are inducted into the Order of the Spur after successfully completing a "Spur Ride" or for having served during combat as a member of or with a Cavalry unit. Traditionally, each Trooper is presented spurs by his sponsor, as seen here.

Over the past weekend on September 25th, 2020, we invited families to join us for Fort Riley's Historic Fall Apple day. Families had the opportunity for first-hand experience with the equipment our soldiers use on a daily basis.
