Fort Recovery Local Schools

Fort Recovery Local Schools is seeking a K-12 Music Teacher & MS/HS Band Director for the 2026-2027 school year. This is an anticipated opening. Duties include teaching music in multiple grade levels in both of our district buildings and serving as the middle school & high school band director. Interested candidates must submit a Certified Teacher Application (available on the district website), resume, copies of FBI and BCI background checks (if available), teaching license, and transcripts to Mr. Ryan Steinbrunner (High School Principal) via email at [email protected] by June 26, 2026.

All candidates are subject to criminal and background checks and must have, or be willing to obtain, proper Ohio teaching credentials.

Salary will be per the district negotiated agreement.

The High School lost and found still has many unclaimed items. Parents and students feel free to stop in between 8am-3pm M-F to claim your items.

It is a longstanding tradition that the Fourth Grade Students from Fort Recovery Elementary help the village officials place the crosses throughout the monument lawn in preparation for Memorial Day. We are so proud of the way our students handled themselves and worked together. Mrs. Dues, Mrs. Bruns, Mr. Heitkamp & Mrs. Heitkamp have done a wonderful job teaching and preparing the students for what these crosses represent.
