Roz Puppets

It seems fitting that on the anniversary of the day the world lost Jim Henson, we at Roz Puppets, who are very much inspired by his art, performed a show at the Whiting Public Library. It was a glorious day to remember Jim.

The Roz Puppets are performing a very special show of "Percy the Purple Cow" on the Battell Community Center stage this morning. We are so excited to share some puppetry magic with this wonderful audience.

Roz Puppets had a wonderful time performing "Silly Bits" for the Brick Street Market in Fort Recovery, OH. Kids and adults enjoyed some puppet antics on what was also National Puppetry Day.

What better way to celebrate World Puppetry Day than to be performing a puppet show!
Today's performance is "The Frog Prince" at the Seneca Public Library District. We are so hoppy to be here and spread the joy of puppetry.

Second time in Toledo in the last 5 days. That's some busy puppets right there.

I acquired a bunch of Kukla, Fran & Ollie memorabilia off eBay and it arrived yesterday. Not quite knowing what I would find in the lot, I was super surprised to find some really nice treasures. Aside from the first 3 issues of the Kuklapolitan Courier from 1948, there was a picture autographed by Fran Allison and another smaller one autographed by Burr Tillstrom along with Fran (also Kukla and Ollie), a program from a celebration of Burr's life and a slide sheet from the Tru-Vue viewer (kinda like a view master of today). All that for $35. I am beyond thrilled as Burr is one of those inspirations of my work.
