We are back from vacation. We will be re-cleaning the Back Forty and stocking up this week and re-opening on Friday, August 10th. Looking forward to seeing all you again.

Better late than never. I forgot to post that we will be closed for vacation. We will re-open no later than August 17th. Hope everyone is having a great summer.

This brave, brave man was the first to try our BLT Wrap. It was a great success today.

We here at the Back Forty Café are adding a few new items to our menu. As mentioned in a previous post, we now have our Maine Italian Sandwich available. Also, we are adding wraps, pasta salad and are back to making some homemade soup from time to time. We also will be offering some new Hot Dog combinations. Our most popular is the Downeaster Dog (All beef dog, bacon, baked beans, barbecue sauce and topped of with our special grilled onions).We will be offering specials thru the month of May and into June. Stop by and see us in the Music Hall (Pavilion) for a full menu. Thank you for trusting us with your taste buds.

COMING SOON to the Back Forty Café will be the "REAL" Maine Italian Sandwich. We are trying to locate the very special ingredients that are necessary to call it the Maine Italian Sandwich. Also, we have been introducing Seafood Specials. Keep checking our page for further details.

This week's special will be Bourbon Chicken served over seasoned rice with a side of broccoli and carrots or green beans and a roll. Specials are served from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
