Today, with our NJCTP Research & Legislative Strategy Team, we released the Legislative Technical Report 2025, presenting an evidence-based roadmap to transform behavioral health in New Jersey.
Key findings & recommendations:
27.7% of NJ adults report anxiety or depression
2,816 overdose deaths recorded in 2023
Less than 25% of outpatient facilities accept new patients
Our plan: sustainable funding, 24/7 telepsychiatry, integration of the 988 Crisis Lifeline, and stronger oversight to protect patients.
New Jersey can and must lead the nation.
