2024 Spring Mini Sessions

I’ve had a few people ask recently if I still do family pictures. The answer is yes! Though it isn’t my main area of work, I have a huge place in my heart for family sessions. And as much as I’m able, I try to always be available for them. Being from a big family myself (with LOTS of nieces and nephews), I love getting to capture the joy and lifelong memories of a family together. 🤍 Let me know if I can capture your family this year!

Sometimes… you just need a long social media break. And maybe a business break too. And that’s what I did. :)

It’s a little crazy for me to look back and realize how incredibly and dramatically I pulled back in 2023. I (somewhat intentionally and somewhat unintentionally) retreated from this business in a lot of ways last year. The recovery from Hurricane Ian hitting SWFL at the end of 2022 was intense. And unexpected. And through some of that, I realized just how burnt out I was and how much of a break I really needed. I wasn’t resting well or working well.

so I pulled back.

You might’ve noticed that I really didn’t post much at all last year (I think literally 3 times total lol). To be honest, I let that ride a little too long. Not just posting, but even working hard to get bookings and build client relationships. I felt like didn’t have the energy to dig myself out. Other (good!) things filled my time. But through that, I got some new perspective on how much I want this business to rule in my life. And it’s not going to look the same going forward.

I’m ready to start working hard again and investing in this business. But there’s going to be more boundaries. More days off. More saying no completely. And more saying yes intentionally. And I’m excited :) I’ve missed creating and dreaming here.

All that say, if you’ve been thinking about reaching out and wondering if I’m still actively shooting and booking… the answer is yes! And I’d love to talk with you. This year will look different for Hannah Ruth and I’m excited for the things to come. 🤍
