Such a good therapy choice for detox and overall longevity.

My friend Chris and his wife Elizabeth (both prominent members of the frontline medical community) heavily suggested getting a jump on my health for the New Year.

On Sunday, before halftime of the Bills/Patriots game and also prior to the Pittsburgh Steelers Miami Dolphins game Monday night and a visit to mom, I stepped into their dry sauna/red light therapy/Bluetooth spa music hot sauna…and dammit, it worked! It got the energy grooving and the blood moving - good for what ails ya.

Wishing you all health & happiness for the holidays! And stay tuned for a surprise New Year’s Eve show announcement coming soon!

Understanding why knee pain gets worse at night

Many people struggle to rest at night due to knee pain. This is because cortisol — your stress and anti-inflammatory hormone — naturally decreases at night, leaving your joints more prone to painful inflammation. Additionally, lack of movement causes joints to become stiff.

Contact us for an appointment today to talk through strategies and treatment options to help you get your sleep back.

A slipped (“herniated”) disc happens when the gel-like cushions between the bones in your spine get pushed out. This can be very painful if it presses on local nerves. This injury typically resolves itself over time with rest, gentle exercise, and over-the-counter painkillers.

If you think you have a slipped disc, contact us for an appointment with one of our back specialists.

Studies have shown a connection between cigarette smoking and back pain.

Because smoking increases plaque formation in blood vessels, the damaged arteries inside the discs and joints in your back can create significant pain.

Smoking also increases the risk of fractures and osteoporosis, making bones weak and brittle.
