After we renovated our “champagne gold bubbles & baths” en suite 🛁 (which I am still VERY obsessed with), the next projects were our in bedroom. The furniture was old, heavy & dark and it was waaaaaayyy overdue for a redo!
🛏️Project list for our “golden hour in the black forest” bedroom➡️
✔️designed/built the tambour headboard
✔️installed space saving floating nightstands & adjustable lighting
✔️created wall art by framing custom designed wallpaper above the bed
It’s a cohesive designed space with “zones”➡️
✔️sitting area for reading, cat cuddling and watching tv
✔️cozy yoga space
✔️dressing area
Every detail is intentional & meaningful, and it feels cozy with a little golden glam!

After the “champagne gold bubbles and bath” renovation in our en suite 🛁 we started working on the bedroom. Adding moody black, cozy creams, nature views + a touch of glam… creating golden hour in the black forest!💛 I love my design software… so easy to create floor plans and 3d designs!!
Not only have we been renovating our bathroom, but our primary bedroom too, plus removing the carpets upstairs and refinishing the steps. So grateful for it all but it’s definitely a lot at once!🚧 We are trying to do what we can to save💰and painting is something I can do. In the past 3 weeks, I have been through 4 gallons of wall paint + 1 gallon of trim paint + primer + ceiling paint. My right arm/shoulder is very sore and I assume should be considerably larger than the left by now😂

Happy Mother’s Day to my amazing mom and to all of the caretakers with big hearts who keep the world spinning and on time, with homework in hands and supper on the table.♥️If you need me, I will be here, in my newest favorite room- but please don’t come looking lol.😂 I hope you all find your personal oasis to enjoy today!!🛁

🛁en suite bathroom update!🛁
(master is out, primary is boring, en suite sounds french & fancy… so en suite it is!)
So many glorious things happening here that I literally got choked up in front of my contractors this morning! (He is freaking amazing, btw!)🤩
We measured for glass, so the guys put the tub in for placement, and I snagged a couple quick pics. She’s a beauty! They have grouted since this picture was taken☺️I will definitely get some pictures when it dries tomorrow.
My arched recessed shelf!!! I don’t have words so I’ll use emojis to express my emotions:🥰🫶🤩❤️🔥👍🙌👏😻We are going to add some wood floating shelves and pretty brackets.
Days like this make me feel like I’m living in a Dreamland and I am grateful for so many reasons.☺️
I have never loved bathroom tiles so much🤣 was one stop shopping to mix and match! We are using…
🚿multi finish hexagon marble mosaic on the shower floor
🛁multi finish round mosaic going under the tub
🔥wood plank ceramic tile under vanities (this will be heated floor!)
🚿vertical stacked iceberg honed marble tile for shower walls
✔️lenox white marble curb
✔️satin brass schluter trim
My amazing contractors have made so much progress! We could have vanities installed by the weekend!🥳

E-design is my specialty!🤩A 3D rendering is the BEST way to show clients the vision of their future space, before anything else has begun. In this particular project, my client wanted to open up her kitchen and dining areas by creating an opening behind her cooktop, + add additional seating and counter space, but she was struggling to “see” how it could work. By having this e-design, she was able to show the contractor her vision in a very clear way. 👀
She took this project and ran with it! Sometimes you don’t need a designer for the entire project, you just need someone to help you get it off the ground.☺️
