News release: Washington’s economy increased by an estimated 21,100 jobs (seasonally adjusted) in July 2026, and the monthly unemployment decreased slightly to 5.0%.

The Vet Corps program, aimed at empowering and supporting people who served in the military, will begin its program year on Sept. 16. The program partners with colleges, universities, and veteran service sites to help veterans navigate education, employment, health care access and disability benefits. Vet Corps is operated by Washington State Department of Veterans Affairs

Attention veterans, military spouses, and dependents NineLine Veteran Services is recruiting a Vet Corps Navigator for the 2026–27 service year.

In partnership with your Washington State Department of Veterans Affairs and AmeriCorps / Washington Service Corps, this full-time national service position puts you on the front lines of peer support for our military community.

You’ll help break down barriers, connect veterans and families to resources, lead outreach, and strengthen networks across Washington’s veteran and social service organizations.
