... just... why..?! 🤣🤣

Ya’ know.. there are times I want to burn the variant industry to the ground, it’s just gotten so ridiculous... BUT.. occasionally an artist comes a long and just dominates a particular character, and it makes me appreciate variants as an art form bc without them, so many artists wouldn’t ever have their work grace covers..
Right now I don’t think there is an artist out there that can come close to on their Harley Quinn work, not saying they’re badly any means, just that his is so good, so now when I think of Harley, his work is what comes to mind. Similar to how is my go-to artist for anything Black Cat!
I sniped these books off of eBay for a great price.. not my preferred method of buying books, but when the artist is in South Africa, not many signing opportunities for me. 😇

Alright everyone.. need some opinions here.. considering buying a Halo 9.8 book, but don’t want to spend the $$ if they have an inconsistent history and I’m going to lose 3/4 of the value should it come back from CGC or CBCS as a 9.4-9.6... 😱😱

Last month I sold off pretty much all of my books to close on our house, (next week), but since then I’ve been trying to figure out what I want my PC to look like.
I’m going to start out with a 9.4 (W) collection of first appearances and origins. For the time being I’m going to limit it to relatively inexpensive books, when things get back to normal I may branch out into more expensive ones, or start my silver age run (thinking 6-7.0 W).
So here are the first two pieces of the new collection! I wasn’t planning on purchasing anything until next month, but these two newsstand beauties appeared on the boards at an unbeatable price, so I had to pounce.
Have you found any killer deals on the CGC boards or anywhere else lately?

Hey, im sorry everyone, I’ve been terribly inactive since December.

The holidays were extremely busy, (2 smalls kids), both of whose birthdays are immediately after In January. Christmas Eve was the saddest day of my life as one of our dogs had a stroke and had to be put down.. and then trying to get my retirement paperwork through the military’s crazy system while all the commanders are warfighter is proving difficult. :/

So all in all, haven’t had much time for comics. BUT, I did submit these beauties for holiday signing event. Very happy with the results considering I had to press a lot of waviness and minor defects out prior to sending.

Anyway, hope you all are doing good!!

Sometimes these little defects come out easy... sometimes it’s a total pain in the 🍑... this one was the latter, but I think the end results are worth sending in for a McFarlane signature, hopefully CGC agree with me! 😂
