From Hooks & Blocks to PURE Ball Striking 🔥

🚫 Snap hooks one swing…
🚫 Blocks the next…

This golfer had the classic “two-way miss” — and the reason was hiding in his swing plane.

After checking the data on TrackMan, the issue became obvious 👇

His swing was getting FAR too flat.

That meant:
❌ Club path pushed too far right
❌ Club getting stuck behind him
❌ Fat strikes
❌ Inconsistent face control
❌ Hooks AND blocks

At one point his path was over 6° from the inside… making timing almost impossible.

So instead of throwing random swing thoughts at him, we focused on ONE thing:

🎯 Steepening the backswing plane correctly.

But here’s the important part…

This DOESN’T mean just lifting the arms.

You need to BLEND:
✔️ Body turn
✔️ Arm structure
✔️ Club direction in the takeaway

Here’s what we changed:

⛳ Lead arm worked more UP instead of pinned across the chest
⛳ Takeaway became slightly more “out”
⛳ Club stopped getting trapped behind him

The result? 🚀

✅ Path improved from 6° to 1°
✅ Ball flight instantly got higher
✅ Better strike quality
✅ More spin & stopping power
✅ Straighter, more repeatable shots

Most golfers fighting hooks, blocks, or fat shots don’t realize their swing plane is creating the chaos.

If your swing feels “stuck” at the top, this could be exactly what you need to work on.

📌 Save this for your next range session.
