The Indiana Harbor is one of the most recognizable giants on the lakes, stretching an impressive 1,000 feet in length and built in 1979 for the American Steamship Company. Designed to haul massive amounts of raw materials, it can carry over 100,000 tons of cargo such as iron ore, coal, and limestone in a single trip, making it a key player in Great Lakes industry. Powered for efficiency and built to navigate the Soo Locks and inland waterways, the Indiana Harbor has spent more than 45 years in service, continuing to move the materials that help build and power the region. A true modern workhorse of the lakes 🚢

The Ojibway is a classic Great Lakes bulk carrier built in 1952 in Bay City, Michigan, stretching about 642 feet long and 67 feet wide, with the capacity to haul over 20,000 tons of cargo like iron ore, coal, and grain.

Originally launched as the Charles L. Hutchinson, it went through several name and ownership changes—including time with Ford Motor Company—before becoming part of Lower Lakes Towing Ltd.. Designed for efficiency on the inland seas, it cruises at around 11.5 knots with a relatively small crew, showcasing the practical engineering of its era. After more than 70 years of service, the Ojibway stands as a proud symbol of durability and the hardworking spirit that keeps Great Lakes commerce moving 🚢

Busy on the printing and design part of things. Someone requested a bed for their Redcat Racing Fusion Ascent. So did the bed, along with modular scale parts to attach in the bed, all using magnets to easily swap out! Little cooler, a little ice and some Optima batteries!
