SCCC-RC students take time during each Resident Phase 1 & 3 courses to meet up with the USAR & USARNG students from the BOLC classes to talk about what it’s like to juggle the Army / Civilian life, what to expect when they report to their first unit, how to prepare themselves for challenging positions that are not always staffed properly, and how to lead USAR & USARNG soldiers who have not had a good experience with past leaders. These mentoring sessions are an invaluable opportunity to build relationships and networks in their Army careers and personal lives.
