Celebrate Juneteenth with us today at 1:15 p.m. at Foothills Mall in Fort Collins for a free screening of BLACK GIRLS PLAY: THE STORY OF HANDGAMES (18 min), followed by a community discussion.

This joyful and illuminating short film explores the origins and cultural legacy of hand games played by generations of Black girls—and their influence on music, dance, and community across the American creative landscape.

Juneteenth celebrates belonging. We are so excited to join Fort Collins Juneteenth for a short film screening (18m) and discussion this Saturday, June 20 at 1:15p in the Foothills Mall, Juneteenth Media Center. Free, all are welcome, family friendly.

In states where gender-affirming care is banned, families are being forced to make impossible choices: stay and risk their children’s safety, or leave behind everything they know. This urgent and deeply human documentary follows three families fighting for the lives and futures of their transgender children. Through intimate storytelling, the film reveals both the devastating impact of politically motivated healthcare bans and the extraordinary resilience, love, and advocacy rising in response.
