I can tell my eye is getting better because my art is improving. Here is Jada!
She will be matted up to an 11x14. She needs her spray varnish. The back will be signed, dated and stamped. An authenticity certificate will come with her as well.
I like the stark white background for her.
I am excited to be healing.
Bit of a headache after completion. (Per usual) but results are satisfactory.
Feel free to reach out if you are interested or know of someone. Sharing this post also helps me get the word out. Thanks for your support!

Having a point of view or taking a stand for yourself does not make you an antagonist.
Conversations around boundaries and standards does not make us the enemy.
It shows that we value the health of our connection.
Respect for life is connection.
All forms.
We are life and we are the energy beings that walk the earth right here and right now.
We may speak
of compassion.
From compassion.
For ourselves.
For all of life.
We are not the antagonist.
Nor are we weak.
We are vulnerable and connected.
We feel life.
We are life.
The largest collective on earth.
Our voice will not be silenced.
There is no way to silence us.
A tidal wave - each drop.
Us. We are life.

For my new followers. Dropping in my bio to tell you a bit about me as a career artist.
“Lisa Nevot is a seasoned member of the creative arts industry, and Certified Theraputic Arts Practitioner.
With a career spanning just shy of 4 decades Lisa has run a business fashioned to suit her lifestyle, craving for adventure, freedom in expression, and passion for art.
Lisa’s work varies in style and medium making her accessible to multiple clientele tastes and needs.
Her mediums include watercolor, acrylic, pen and ink, graphite, canvas, and wood. Even painting on glass and brick. Her style is recognizable yet vastly different based on current inspiration and influences.
Her artwork has won her awards, been published, licensed, auctioned, in galleries, in stores, and sold online. All through her own marketing and distribution channels.
Her love for the arts has brought her to speak on panels, speak to large audiences, paint live on stage with best selling authors. It has taken her work to Italy to tour for a year, to hang along side the likes of Diego Rivera and even Michelangelo. She has been published in multiple magazines and it has led her to teach art history through the artists of the past as well as teaching beginners to bring out their love of creation.
Lisa believes in conscious creation. The connectivity of all living things and the entanglement theory of the quantum universe. Her art represents the thinning of the veil and our ability to move through life not being identified by it but rather a passenger on a journey in this dimension. She has intuitive gifts that present themselves in her vision and dreams feeling the connection to the collective consciousness. She asks that we see ourselves not as our bodies or suffering, but as creators. Architects of our lives through our passion and desire for the health of ourselves, our community and the planet. Through personal power we can then join each other and light up the world, exposing the underbelly and driving it out with the light. Every thing that is alive now walking and living on the earth should be treated with reverence.
Lisa is still creating and teaching to this day, continuing to live her way and loving the life she leads.
“Success is in the ability to live the lifestyle you choose, not just the power of acquisition.”
She creates from the soul for the soul.
When she is not locked up in her studio or spending time in the galleries, Lisa can be found wandering Old Town Fort Collins enjoying the local flavors or taking road trips and doing photography. “

Being able to see with my left eye is making such a difference.
I can’t wait till next month to do the other.
In the meantime I get to create with a heart filled with gratitude.

Post below is written by Kyra Wilson and I fully support this. Having a certification in therapeutic arts I have learned the ways art physiologically affects the body and brain.
Also this book is highly recommended for anyone who wants to learn more as to why AI is not art. It needs rebranding in my opinion.
“Yes, I’m anti-ai, but instead of arguing over why the image generation technology is so bad, why it’s not actually art, why they’re not actually creating… I think instead, I’ll focus on the part people seem to never grasp (and maybe it’s why they don’t understand the issue and think they’re “artists” in the first place.)
An artist experiences, processes, translates, and grows with each artistic endeavor. This involves your brain, your physical body, your soul - and so, when you use those things to pick up a pencil/brush/etc that is the switch that lights that infrastructure up!
Maybe what you create is a masterpiece, but maybe it’s awful instead… either way? You have grown, evolved, changed just a little bit for the better today. You have become more.
Entering a prompt into a machine deprives you of all of that. Your frustration isn’t about learning color and technique, or how to express your emotion through the physical manifestation of art. No, your frustration is the same as when you order DoorDash and the burger wasn’t cooked correctly; you didn’t learn anything about how to cook or what to change. You didn’t develop new skills or insight.
Art is actually failure, more often than it is success. Failure spurs growth. You learn, refine, and change. A failed prompt is just static noise, and a blackened void of where you would have grown, would have connected, would have evolved.
If you want to engage in art, and the reason you use ai is because you think you won’t be able to get it right and make something amazing on your first try picking up a brush, then you have let Ai image generation steal everything that art is really about from you. And you don’t even realize it.
Ai image generation isn’t accessibility, it’s theft. Not just from the illegally scraped images, but from YOU when you use it instead of relying on yourself. It’s stealing the accomplishment of you doing better and feeling proud. It’s stealing those neural connections and nervous system benefits. It’s stealing from you in ways you don’t even realize.
You gain more from doodling an awful poodle on a receipt, than you do from an image generator.
Ai data aggregation for science and purposes like that which assist living minds to understand and create new solutions to problems, I am for. I am even for the mold integration of helping keep track of certain day to day things (I think an assistant would help my parents as we enter into these dementia type areas, for example.) That sort of purposeful use definitely has a place.
The issue is all the misuse going on.” -Kyra Wilson.

Strangely yet reassuringly I wake up consistently hopeful.
Having my vision partially restored has given me a fresh perspective and gratitude. I have to take things slow but inside I am chomping at the bit to jump into life. Where before I was content to isolate.
So many twists and turns.
Nothing is forever. The only constant is change.
Music, art, friendship, and nourishment are my allies and truly continue to help me stay in the healthiest frame of mind.
