The nervous trainer walk. 😂
You can prepare them, coach them, go over the plan one more time… and then eventually, you just have to hand over the reins and watch.
Not sure who was more nervous before Micah and Temptations went in the pen—but watching your clients accomplish the things they’ve worked so hard for makes every nervous lap worth it.

If you asked me what has shaped my life, the answer has always been the horses.
They’ve taught me patience when I needed it most. Humility when I thought I had it figured out. Gratitude for the good days, and resilience through the hard ones.
Every horse leaves something with you. Looking back, I realize they’ve all helped make me the horseman and the person I am today.
I wouldn’t trade this life for anything.
I’ve always believed that good horsemanship goes far beyond what happens in the arena.
It’s found in the everyday routines. The care. The consistency. The little things that often go unnoticed but make all the difference for the horse.
Grateful to have Shine Equine as part of ours.

I’ve learned that the horses have a way of slowing you 𝑑𝑜𝑤𝑛.
They remind you to be 𝑝𝑟𝑒𝑠𝑒𝑛𝑡. To appreciate the quiet moments. To enjoy the ride instead of always looking ahead to the next destination.

It’s hard not to get excited about a horse like Therighttobeararms.
His talent, heart, and willingness continue to impress every time he has stepped into the pen. At the RMRHA Summer Slide, he earned Co Champion in the Level 2 Open Futurity and tied for 3rd in the Level 4 with a 221.5.
