Landscape Photographer based out of Fort Collins, Colorado

Inspired by my good friend this year, Iโ€™m jumping full force into the astro game! Starting with an image we captured together a few years back up in Estes. Itโ€™s been in the back of my mind for quite some time now, and Iโ€™m looking forward to learning a whole new perspective on photography. I hope this image inspires some of you to continue to challenge yourself and never stop perusing your dreams! โœจ๐ŸŒŒ (Shot with a7Rii & 14-24mm f/2.8 lens)

The thing I love most about photography is having the ability to visit a popular destination and walk away with something no one has ever seen before! ๐Ÿ“ธ

Which image do you like more? ๐Ÿง

The return of the forbidden snow cave โ„๏ธ

If youโ€™ve been following me for a while then you probably remember seeing an image very similar to this. While I was solo backpacking a few years ago I came across this super small cave and it ended up being the highlight of my trip.

I shoot the moonrise the first night and then after returning to camp all I could think about was what it would look like for sunrise as well. So the next morning I decided to head back up the mountain and the rest is history.

I hope you all enjoy, and have a wonderful New Year! ๐Ÿพ

The struggle to get the shot! ๐Ÿฅถ

This past weekend I decided to head up to Rocky Mountain National Park to see if I could finally get a decent shot of this incredible lake. In order to do so I had to wake up at 3am, drive 2hrs, and hike 2 miles to get to this spot. Sounds easy right? Well it typically is depending on conditions, but if you know me personally something always has to happen. ๐Ÿซฃ

I got to the park around 6am and of course my stomach started rumbling. I figured I had enough time to stop and still make it in time no big deal right. Well after using said bathroom I got back to my car to discover my key stopped working. Iโ€™m like thatโ€™s weird maybe itโ€™s just the cold effecting the key fob. So I manually got into my car put the key into the ignition and found I completely lost all power. ๐Ÿซก

Now Iโ€™m stranded in the park by myself with no service and Iโ€™m not even at the trailhead yet. On top of that I literally just got my car serviced the week prior and spent over 2k to get it fixed. Out of pure rage I got out opened the hood and punched my battery. And to my surprise that actually did the trick. Further inspection later revealed that the battery terminals were loose go figure. ๐Ÿ™„

Itโ€™s now 6:30am the sun rises in 30mins and I still have yet to even begin the hike. Debating about giving up I decided to press on and race to the trailhead. I began running up the trail to find out it was completely snowed in. In fact there was so much snow you couldnโ€™t even see the trial at some points. So there I was post-holing, cursing out load, and sweating bullets just to make it here in time. I guess in the end all the struggles make it worth it. Because once the sun lit up this scene I completely forgot about everything else! ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿฝ

I decided to look at canyonlands reviews the other day and this is what I found! Which one is your favorite? ๐Ÿซฃ๐ŸŒต

1. Place is ugly, totally nothing to see here and everything looks the same.

2. Very bad. very painful. and very hot.

3. It's smelled bad.

The famous sunset point! ๐Ÿœ๏ธ

Epic grand vistas with red-hued cliffs and broad expanses of desert make geological patterns pop in the bright orange light. Setting certain landscapes like these on literal fire when the lighting is just right! ๐Ÿ‘Œ๐Ÿฝ๐Ÿ”ฅ (Shot with a7Rii & 14-24mm f/2.8 lens)|Cropped for IG| DM for Prints!

Finding new and unique compositions is probably the most exciting thing for me when it comes to photography! The idea of creating something new that no one has ever seen before brings me joy that I just canโ€™t put into words. Iโ€™m beyond blessed that I found photography, and I hope to continue to spread my passion to others around the world! ๐ŸŒจ๏ธ๐Ÿ‚๐ŸŒฒ (Shot with a7riii & 14-24mm f/2.8 lens)|Cropped for IG| DM for Prints!
