The Children and Teen Services (CATS) Interest Group of CAL is proud to announce the date for the 2025 CATS Workshop! We will be coming together in person on Monday, March 10, 2025 at the new LINC Library Innovation Center in Greely, CO. Registration opens in February, so mark your calendars!

We are currently accepting proposals for break-out sessions. We are looking to hear from library staff who engage with children, teens, tweens, and their families and caregivers. We are hoping to hear about your successful programs (or struggles), innovative strategies, and best practices for service. The annual CATS workshop draws youth library staff from across Colorado, from large urban districts to small rural libraries, and our hope is that our presenters will represent the diversity of Colorado libraries. All selected presenters are able to attend the full workshop at no charge. Presenters must submit details about their presentation using this form: https://forms.gle/CJBxRDyfUFp9ToCk6

Think you might want to present but not sure what topics? Check out our list of topics that members have expressed interest in learning about.
Really wish you could present but can't make this year's workshop? Submit a proposal for consideration for a possible webinar later this year!

Submit the Proposal Form before Wednesday, January 8 to be considered.

If you are interested in helping plan the workshop, including selecting this year’s sessions, please reply with your contact info to be added to the planning committee list.
