Community Juicing Days!

08/11/2018

Hi everybody. We've received your messages about having apples to be harvested for the Community Orchard. Unfortunately, this year we don't have the resources to pick individual apple trees in the field. Though with a little luck we will have a single day event in the near future. On that day you will be able bring your apples to our juicing trailer, where we will have a little get together and press apples! You'd take home a box of super fresh community orchard non-alcoholic cider (that you get to watch get made). If enough people come out, we'd be able to make and release a new Branch Out hard cider some time next year.

We are very sorry we can't partake in the apple picking. Its always an enjoyable experience You'll be happy to know that the reason we can't pick the Community Orchard this year is due to the smashing success of our Mobile Juicing Trailer. It is currently parked in Palisade, and has juiced 150,000 lbs of peaches that would have otherwise ended up in the landfill. Even if it isn't in our immediate backyard, we're still making a local difference! And the fruits of our labor will be available at Scrumpy's for tasting and taking home.

Keep an eye out here on the Branch Out Cider page for updates about this potential event.
