The best practice to feed and protect your lawn over this winter is to put down Turf Maser's slow-release fertilizer within the next few weeks. As a granular product, this fertilizer will need to be watered in by hand with a hose if your irrigation system has been blown out for the winter. We sell this blend in both sealed 40lb bags and broken down into 10lb bags for homeowners who do not need as much fertilizer on hand. 10lb of our slow-release will cover 1,500 square feet of bluegrass and up to 3,000 square feet of fescue varieties. You can also get ready for the Spring by picking up your Spring fertilizer (either pre-emergent blend or our Turf Master with Iron Blend) on your same visit. Come by the sales office at 3327 N. Summer is in full swing and our crews are working hard to keep the yard transformations coming. Check out this recent yard renovation we completed! This homeowner had been battling weeds in this area of the yard for years and this yard renovation brought peace of mind to the home.

Many of our lawns have been looking great due to the moisture we have received across the Rocky Mountain region this year. Keep your lawn looking great and be proactive against late summer water grasses growing into your lawn by putting down a pre emergent fertilizer application before the end of July.

Even if you put a pre emergent fertilizer down in early spring, with all the moisture we have received this season, it is recommended to put down another application before the end of July for protection through the rest of summer.
