We're looking for our next home in Fort Collins—and we'd love your help.

After several good years in our current space, the building is being sold, and Trebuchet Group is searching for the right next place to coach leaders, facilitate teams, and host the people we work with.

Here's what we're hoping to find:

• North Fort Collins, near the river and the walking paths we love (good coffee nearby is a bonus)
• 800–1,200 sq ft, around $3,000-$5,000/month all in
• Space for up to 5 desks - we're flexible, and a couple of hot desks could work
• Place(s) to have private video calls / meetings (e.g. office with door)
• Access to a workroom that holds up to 10, with dry-erase boards, adaptable tables, and great natural light (ok with sharing with others)
• Natural light throughout - a near must for us

We're open to sharing, subleasing, or leasing—whatever fits.

And we'd be good company. We're a quiet, professional presence and genuinely good neighbors. Over the years we've even traded leadership, team, and business coaching with landlords and fellow tenants.

If a space, a firm with extra room, or a person comes to mind, comment below or send me a message. We're hoping to land somewhere by the end of summer, and we're grateful for any lead.

Throwback!

In going through our old storage unit, we found one of our first series of articles Chris wrote for leaders and teams back in 2004.

A few of our favorite questions included here are:

How do you plow through difficulties?

Is someone you know indispensable?

Are you laden with your employees' problems?

We often talk about how leadership challenges change depending on the context, and some challenges remain evergreen. What are some of your favorite leadership questions?

What’s Driving You That You Can’t See… Yet Impacts Everything You Do as a Leader 05/28/2026

Unlike most assessments that describe what you do, the Enneagram maps why you do it — the motivational patterns and core assumptions that shape how you lead under pressure, build trust, and navigate conflict. For leaders who are already capable and committed, that kind of self-knowledge tends to be the thing that actually moves the needle.

We've recently integrated the iEQ9 Enneagram assessment into our executive coaching and team work, led by accredited practitioner Gurudev Khalsa.

One leadership team described the experience this way: "We came away with a much deeper understanding of each other, and how our motivations influence our behaviors and team dynamics." If you're curious whether this work might be right for you or your team, we'd welcome a conversation — reach out to Gurudev directly.

You can read more about our decision to add the Enneagram to our suite of tools here:

What’s Driving You That You Can’t See… Yet Impacts Everything You Do as a Leader The truth is that most leaders aren’t limited by lack of effort or ability — it’s something they can’t see that affects behavior and makes it hard to change.

The best way to improve your results is to know and leverage what you have to work with. If you worked with us in the past, you probably completed a DISC and Motivators, Conflict or even Team Health assessment.

How helpful would it be to step through your assessment results with a Trebuchet Group guide to see how your strengths are showing up and where you could further leverage your growth?

When Does a Business Really Need HR? 04/14/2026

Sandra Kapell knows HR - just not the version most business owners live with. She’s quickly found a big opportunity: most small businesses don’t have HR departments, but they still have all the same HR challenges.

The catch? Sandy has also realized that knowing HR isn’t the same as knowing how owners think about HR. Or how they talk about it. Or what they’re actually willing to pay for it.

Sandy is really trying to take a function most owners resist and help identify the value for small business leaders. Because people need support no matter the size of the organization.

Listen to this episode of the 21 Hats Podcast, where Chris Hutchinson helps facilitate the group to support Sandy in her explorations.

When Does a Business Really Need HR? In our latest 21 Hats Brainstorm, our panel of entrepreneurs tries to help a startup founder figure out how to sell HR services to skeptical business owners.

My Team Keeps Going Sideways in Meetings. What do I do? 03/26/2026

How familiar is this scenario?

Someone asks a question, and even if it's a fair one, it lands wrong. The person who raised the idea starts explaining more, someone else jumps in, and a few people just check out.

At that point, the conversation isn't really about the idea anymore. It's about what’s underneath.

One question often makes the difference:
“What’s important about that to you?”

What happens when you apply engineering discipline to the messy reality of leading people?

Chris and Graham Stephen, CEO of bizval, got together to explore why technical expertise alone doesn't create great teams, how one leader can transform an entire organization overnight, and why most attempts at systems improvement fail before they start.
