Hi there,
Let me take a moment to reintroduce myself! My name is Kaylen! Rooted has been a passion project of mine for three years now.

I attended CSU and got my degree in art education with a focus in photography in 2015. While I the education portion of my degree didn’t stick the photography always has.

2020 was a year of lost passions, wasted time and 2021 has been a year of getting it back. I had a privilege of focusing my photo and video work to the yoga studio I was teaching at in early 2021. When they closed their doors end of May I took some time to focus on myself and my hopes and passions.

Time and time again I kept remembering how much I love photography and capturing those moments. So guess what- I’m back!

Lots of extra time to make your photo dreams come true. So let’s talk, if 2020 taught us anything it’s the importance of the moments we share with each other and I would love nothing more than to be the one to capture it.
