Today...be a diamond.

This morning when I sat down to work...I noticed my laptop was "plugged in but not charging" UGH!
Because I work online, I rely on my computer and have a nice one...Lenovo Thinkpad X1, so NOTHING makes me much more cranky than when my tool has a problem. Nothing much more than the fact that the problem was not actually my tool but my tool's operating system.
I just had a Windows update. Among other issues was that Microsoft was trying to force me to use Edge...thus far I have avoided that all together.
So off I go to find my solution before I call, besides Lenovo support didn't open for another 45 min...
At this point, I didn't yet know it was the Windows update. Lenovo community database didn't address it so out to the great wide open...
I found several ideas, tried a couple but once again, rely on c|net. So if any of you have had a recent Windows update and are having a battery charge issue...I offer this up and
