BikePlusTours is owned and operated by Carolyn & Pieter Maessen, a husband and wife team based in Bre Pieter has been a cyclist all his life.
We are a small company owned and operated by Carolyn and Pieter Maessen. BikePlusTours was born out of a desire to share our love for cycling on the great mountain roads of Europe with our guests. We have been organizing group cycling trips since 2002 and we feel very lucky that our hobby has become our profession. We cycled up to the top of Foia again today. The temp was 24 degrees which was a lot nicer than the 34 it was last Sunday when we rode up!

Really quiet roads and very open and dry landscape today. Interesting to see the farmers gearing up for harvest. Riding through the wheat and barley fields and then through eucalyptus trees, you could easily think you’re in Australia!
