The trips keep coming! Today. 10 father-child pairs leave for South America on our Trek: Amazon+Andes experience. Our hope is for this experience to be more than an amazing adventure, but an experience that would launch these young adults into the next season of their lives with a greater sense of God's Kingdom and a deeper connection to their dads.

How many sons received an intentional initiation into manhood? Not many.

But that changes for the five sons heading out today with their dads on our Man Maker Canoe Canada experience.

Initiation. Connection. Blessing...all coming in the next five days.

We think a lot of men have learned how to live without brotherhood by pretending they don’t need it.

That sounds harsh, but we’ve done it too.

This conversation started around the difference between buddies and brothers, and edged into some deeper waters around loneliness, fear, and why it's hard for us to open up. We examine why surface-level friendships feel safer and why being known by another man can feel both healing and terrifying.
