"What are you making room for this fall?

Our Grove Retreats in Colorado and the Pacific Northwest are an opportunity to spend a few days reconnecting with God, sharing your story, and building the kind of brotherhood that changes how you return to everyday life.

Fall has a way of filling up fast. If you've been waiting for the right time, maybe this is it.

Some of us grew up believing that if Dad worked hard, kept food on the table, and paid the bills, he had done his job.

But deep down, most of us know we needed something more.

A child doesn't just need to be provided for. They need to be seen. They need to know their father's face, hear his delight, and experience his presence in the ordinary moments that shape a lifetime.

In this conversation, Chris Bruno and Cody Buriff explore why provision is not parenting, what it looks like to offer your kids your presence instead of just your performance, and how understanding your own father story can change the story you're writing for your children.

Whether your kids are two or twenty-two, it's never too late to become the kind of father whose presence leaves a lasting imprint.

There are few words that make us more uncomfortable than:

"Can we talk about something?"

Maybe we've been looking at those moments all wrong.

The last of our fathering expeditions hit the trail this week. 6 father-daughter pairs ventured into the Mt. Zirkel Wilderness in pursuit of wild and holy spaces in the backcountry and relationally.

Last week's Man Maker Base Camp was a hit! We played hard, added some new adventures, and pressed into deep and holy waters. We're already counting down the days until next year!

Yesterday, 6 father-son pairs hit the back country in pursuit of initiation, blessing, and a deeper relationship. We're hopeful and excited for what this week will hold for them.

Conflict doesn't have to be the end of a friendship.

Most of us were never taught how to repair what's been broken. We either avoid the conversation or quietly drift apart.

In this episode, Jesse and Cody explore what forgiveness, repair, and real brotherhood actually look like.

Last week's Fierce & Lovely Base Camp was one for the books. What a fantastic group of intentional fathers and fierce and lovely daughters! We threw some new wrinkles into this year's experience and couldn't have enjoyed it more.

11 years ago, a humble and hopeful group of dads and sons gathered for the first Base Camp Weekend. Today, we offer another Base Camp experience. The location and numbers are different, but the vision remains for intentional fathers and sons who know their dad's delight.

Last week, we held our first-ever Man Maker Rafting experience. Despite some challenges with low river levels due to the drought, we had an amazing time with 9 "all-in" father-son pairs. One dad described his time as " everything and more than I expected." So grateful for the connection, adventure, and goodness that was experienced!
