Time to call it complete..... Introducing my 2026 Museum of Art Fort Collins Masks contribution - Valley of Fire. Inspired by a Valley of Fire State Park photo adventure. The 2000 year old petroglyphs and sandstone formations juxtaposed with the deep blue skies inspired multiple layers of acrylic paint poured over the bisque mask form and sealed with a layer of epoxy resin.

My Colorado referee family is very special. My heart, which was locked in sadness today is now lightened and full of gratitude. Thank you for the thoughtful remembrance. Sending virtual hugs to each of you for this lovely gift today.

A year ago, we were getting Daisy Court ready - planning art work and living room layout. Unfortunately, never made it out of the hospital to see our plans come to fruition. One piece of art was being framed by our former landlord so things were incomplete until this week because I just couldn’t go back to our old neighborhood to pick it up. But leave it to our wonderful friends Pam Marshall () and Jim Darling. Pam surprised me with the final one this week. Now it feels complete. For those who aren’t familiar - these are prints, signed by the musician whose voice is recorded in the image. Upper left - upper right - , lower right - and lower left - would be very happy with it all.
