Happy Holidays friends! The holidays are a bit different for us this year with me recovering from shoulder surgery a few days ago. We’re relishing some forced relaxation time with some amazing food from and some movies, and more….while scheming for the exciting year ahead! 🎄🧑‍🎄💚🙏🏼

I’ve been to Portland, ME a handful of times but this is the first time I’ve really been there…as in I’m not confined to a rink and a hotel with a busload of Herons 😁 We’ve heard great things and, if anything, it was undersold. The Head Light was one highlight, loving this Maine long weekend! 🙏🏼💚

I’ve seen quite a few unique ice rinks over the years - last weekend’s visit to the Playland Ice Casino ranks near the top of the list. Fun fact - they filmed part of the classic film ‘Big’ at the nearby boardwalk! 🏒🎥
