I've been dealing with some injuries... First it was a lower back strain and now sciatic nerve pain. Probably the worst pain I've experienced in my life! Luckily, movement such as going out for walks feels really good. The other day I put on my Wadi sun hoodie and grabbed my cooling towel for a wonderful walk in 90+ fahrenheit temperatures. I've really been enjoying my walks and hope to get back to running soon. Check out my latest videos on the YouTube channel to learn more!

A week and a half ago I pulled something in my lower back, sidelining me for about a week. This week I went for a brisk 4 Mile and 5 Mile walk and this morning tried running again... Success! The back is still a little stiff but getting better everyday. That's good because I have a 100 mile race to get ready for in just a few weeks.
Stay cool my friends 😎

Race video is published! (link in the comments) > The Quad Rock ultra trail race by Gnar Runners is appropriately named, with the 50 mile route having nearly 11,000 feet of elevation gain and loss; Your quads will be rocked! Taking place on Horsetooth Mountain in Fort Collins, Colorado, the course ascends 3 punchy climbs within the first half of the race. Then, after completing the 25 mile loop, 50 milers turn around and do the same course counter clockwise. All the climbs now become downhill, and all the downhills become climbs. Quad Rock is a difficult yet beautiful and fulfilling race, with each year seemingly introducing something unique. For me, this year proved to be particularly difficult… Enjoy the video!
