When photographer Ansel Adams looked through his camera lens, he saw more than rocks, trees, and rivers. He saw art. Hues of wildness surfaced in this great American photographer's stunning black-and-white prints. For much of his life, Yosemite National Park was Adams' chief source of inspiration.

The smiles I got to share with family and friends were top notch in 2018 yet it was also a busy year with too much time working on the road. It's always fun to get the quadcopter out! We got a babysitter... I mean a 401k... I mean a basketball hoop for the boys for spring break. These spring storms have us re-chalking our masterpiece court lines often, but that’s okay. 🏀❣️🤙🏻

As the 1st day of March went to sleep, the night with a full moon and stars came out to play on Rabbit Ears Pass.

I fell in love with Rabbit Ears as a kid with my family in Steamboat Dreamboat.

Thanks to my buddy Yoshi for coming along on the all night adventure after an exhausting yet exhilarating Feb of guiding ski trips, music, and family fun. ❄️🍻⛷️📸

Oops. I guess I said too many nice things about Texas.
The waves got bigger in Galveston as we were chased out of town by a winter storm and after multiple airport cancellations I guess we live here in TX now.
We took cover in yet another hotel only to learn that now they say Thursday is the earliest departure. We are across from Space Center Houston -- maybe we'll catch a rocket home. 😴
