Pro Tools 2020.11 finally added Dark Mode. I love it.

I've always kept my studio a secret just working with cool local bands. During COVID things have been quiet but I've been working real hard on my skills. I recently won another mixing contest and have been working on a ton of new things in the studio (i.e. mic, plugin and hardware shootouts, mic placement, tuning, room mics, etc.). Near term I plan to keep doing remote mixing work and some occasional overdub sessions. But man do I look forward to working with bands again!

The guitar room of doom. It's actually the sound lock, but it's isolated from the control room and live room and is great for keeping loud guitars out of the drum mics.

Video between rooms is sure nice. This is the piano area at the back of the control room and is isolated from the live room. It's great for tracking piano, scratch vocals, horns or acoustic outside of the live room.

DW 5 pc. kit in 18' x 15' sound isolated live room. I have a bunch of cool snares, cymbals and it all stays tuned and mic'ed up with 12 mics already patched. You can also bring your kit, but this one is tough to beat.!
